George Rabnott was born in Hammersmith England and went to sea in 1805. George Rabnott served on a British Man of War for one year and on Merchant Ships and immigrant ships for 37 years. George was last at sea in 1842. George Rabnott was a resident of Baltimore, MD, and was a widower. He entered Sailors' Snug Harbor on September 16, 1843, and would remain at the Harbor for 30 years dying at the age of 82.

George Rabnott would last serve on the Ship Alhambra, which might be an Irish Ship, as a Seaman. George Rabnott would be injured in the Port of Mobile Alabama, while working this Ship. His injuries would result in his retirement as a seaman and acceptance into Sailors' Snug Harbor.
