Victorian Cottages with Mansard Roofs

The cottages were built for the workers who lived at Snug Harbor. There was a cottage dedicated to the Gardener and his family, a Commissary Cottage, a Bakers Cottage, the Farmer’s Cottage, etc. These laborers ensured the inmates had plenty of food and the buildings and grounds were taken care of.
